US Navy Assists in Search Operations Near Sunken Sewol Ferry

Search and recovery operations continued off the island of Jindo in the East China Sea on Sunday, April 20, following the Sewol ferry disaster earlier in the week. 50 bodies have been recovered and over 250 people are still missing. Many of the victims were schoolchildren on an outing, with grieving and angry families condemning the government for the handling of the tragedy.
