Somnath Bharti allegedly beaten up by BJP supporters

AAP leader Somnath Bharti alleged that supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi manhandled him during a television show. According to Bharti, who was participating in an election-related television programme in holy city Varanasi, was beaten up by BJP supporters while trying to rescue a person who stood in his support. Bharti recalled that while trying to run away from the miscreants, he was beaten up badly.
