Reactions come in after BJP MP opposed Indo- Pak cricket series

Politicos react after a BJP member in Lok Sabha asked the government not to clear the proposed resumption of Indo-Pak cricket series questioning the need for having sporting ties with a country which shelters terrorists responsible for carrying out attacks in India. Congress and NCP said that this is ill mindset of the BJP members which is trying to stall relations between the two countries. JD (U) leader KC Tyagi also condemned the viewpoint of the BJP MP over the issue. Meanwhile, Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut welcomed BJP's decision to oppose the proposed India-Pakistan cricket series in December, adding that it has been against the two countries playing since the time party founder Bal Thackeray raised the issue.
