Preparations in full swing for PM Modi's Mathura rally

Preparations are on in full swing for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rally on Monday afternoon to mark the first anniversary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led NDA Government at the Centre. Prime Minister Modi will address a rally at Nagla Chandrabhan, the ancestral village of BJP ideologue Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya. Tight security arrangements have been put in place for the Prime Minister's visit. According to reports, eight companies of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and five companies of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) have been deployed. Seven Superintendent of Police (SP) rank officers, two additional SPs and 19 Deputy SPs will also be deployed for the rally. About 100 civil police constables, 35 traffic constables and 12 inspectors and sub-inspectors are also stationed in Mathura and in Nagla Chandrabhan village.
