PCB chief Shaharyar Khan optimistic about proposed Indo-Pak series

Pakistan Cricket Board chief Shaharyar Khan said on Thursday that he is optimistic about a proposed Indo-Pak series between the two countries regarding which they are to meet in Dubai next month. Khan also denied all rumours of boycotting the series. He also said that as he received a reply to his letter sent to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which promised to hold talks on the sidelines of an International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting in Dubai and India should honour the agreement. Pakistan and India are mulling playing two Tests, five one-day internationals and two Twenty20 matches in December and January in the United Arab Emirates. The ICC meeting will be held from October 8-13 in Dubai.
