NPP protests against Pakistan for continuous firing in Kashmir

Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) staged a protest against the continuous firing by Pakistani troops in Kashmir on Friday (August 28) and demanded strong action by the Central government. Members of the JKNPP shouted slogans against Pakistan and burnt effigies, asking them to stop the firing which has killed many innocent people. State president of JKNPP, Harsh Dev, led the protest in Jammu city and said that it was time to send out a strong message to Pakistan. The party was not just blaming Pakistan but also Central government for not taking tough actions to control the continuous firing. Earlier in the day, three civilians were killed and eight injured in a fresh round of firing by Pakistani troops in RS Pura sector the state on Friday.
