Muslim cleric reaffirms his praise for Rajnath, calls Congress communal and divisive

Muslim Cleric, Kalbe Jawad on Saturday, reiterated his praise for BJP President Rajnath Singh as the prime ministerial candidate, adding that Muslims are upset with Narendra Modi after the 2002 riots in Gujarat. Jawad further clarified that his meet should not be seen as one meant to garner Muslim votes. Jawad compared Singh with BJP's last Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, saying Muslims liked Vajpayee and said that Modi after the riots has not been accepted well among the Muslim community members. He further called the ruling Congress communal in nature and a follower of divisive policies and a party which will be boycotted by all minorities in the elections.
