Islamabad Slum Demolished Following Bomb Attack

Children played in the ruins of their former homes at a Rawalpindi slum on April 23. Authorities recently razed the camp, close to the Pakistani capital Islamabad, as part of an effort to improve security in the area. The slum was located near a market where a bomb killed more than 20 people on April 9. Many of the slum’s residents are now homeless. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
