Indo-Pak cross border trade flourishes

The cross border trade between India and Pakistan witnessed a boost with a turnover of rupees 1.50 billion in three months. The custodian of cross LoC trade in Jammu and Kashmir, Mohammed Bashir Lone, said the trade flourished between January to March, this year. The trans LoC trade resumed in February as it was suspended after the police in the state said they had seized more than 100 kg (220 lb) of heroin concealed in a truck full of nuts coming from the Pakistan side in January.
