Indian media condemns US school shooting

Indian media has denounced the Connecticut gun rampage, in which a heavily armed gunman killed 28 people, including 20 children from 5 to 10 years old, in an elementary school, one of the worst mass shootings in US history. Indian media reacted with shock over the incident as the national daily covered the news of the shooting rampage on the front page. Television news channels extensively covered the unfortunate incident, in which lives of innocent children was claimed by a gunman who went berserk. In India, locals expressed their shock and called for more security in the US schools in wake of the rise in such incidents, in which innocent lives are lost.
