BSF seize heroin at Indo-Pak border

Security personnel of Border Security Force (BSF) seized heroin worth rupees 500 million, which was being smuggled along India-Pakistan border in Amritsar city of Punjab. The official added the smugglers took advantage of darkness and managed to escape. Drugs trade has been thriving in Punjab, which shares its international border with Pakistan. Increasing seizures indicate that the state is on a new and dangerous high on drugs.
