BSE closes points 207.70 down on April 16

Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 207.70 points down to stand at 22,277.23. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 57.80 points down to stand at 6,675.30. Future Retail and MCX were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 9.54% and 4.41% along with Gujarat State Petronet Ltd. and Muthoot Finance with an increase of 4.04% and 3.77% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include JP Power and HDIL with a decrease of 8.65% and 6.41% along with Indiabulls Real Estate and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd. with a decrease of 6.17% and 6.02% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 86.83 points at 13,197.30 while the banking sector is down 16.23 points at 14,370.22 and the realty sector is down 58.45 points at 1,452.25. The Indian currency is down 0.22% at Rs 60.37 per dollar.
