BSE closes points 170.45 down on April 29

Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 170.45 points down to stand at 27,225.93. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 45.85 points down to stand at 8,285.60. WELCORP and AIAENG were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 19.95% and 9.29% along with GRUH and SUPREMEIND with an increase of 7.94% and 6.54% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include KPIT and IDEA with a decrease of 19.99% and 5.36% along with GUJRATGAS and ALOKTEXT with a decrease of 5.12% and 5.03% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 106.64 points at 18,529.48 while the banking sector is up 93.74 points at 20,984.37 and the realty sector is up at 14.13 points at 1,549.13. The Indian currency is down 0.18% at Rs 63.26 per dollar.
