BS Yeddyurappa set to quit BJP formally today

Former Karnatka chief minister and rebel BJP leader and B S Yeddyurappa is all set to resign from Assembly membership and end his 40-year old association with the party formally today. Yeddyurappa told the reporters in Bangalore that he would resign from the primary membership as he has decided to launch a new regional party. Yeddyurappa also said that people will support him to build a strong state in Karnataka. He is set to launch his party, the Karnataka Janata Party on December 9.
