Bangladesh women's cricket squad in Pakistan to play series

The visiting Bangladesh women's cricket squad captain and host Pakistan held opening news conference after a 15-member Bangladesh women's team along with their officials flew into Karachi to play a series. Captain of Bangladesh Women's Cricket team Salma Khatun said that the team was happy to be in the country for a series. Sana Mir, captain of Pakistan's women team said she was happy for a crowd at home. Sana Mir-led Pakistan defeated Bangladesh in a nail-biting finish at the Incheon Asian Games final last year. During their stay in Pakistan, Bangladesh women will play two Twenty20 Internationals and as many ODIs. The action begins with the first T20 on Wednesday (September 30). All the matches will be played at Karachi's Southend Club Ground.
