Meanwhile, Wawrinka and his infamous shorts were the toast of Twitter, so was ladies champion Serena Williams.

Former QPR and West Ham boss Harry Redknapp joined Twitter this week and let’s just say his arrival did not go unnoticed. His second-ever tweet was a response to a West Ham fan who had made a comment criticising Frank Lampard... in a forum IN 1996.
