Yahoo News SZA Addresses ‘Petty’ Old Tweet About Rihanna Following BRIT Awards Performance
Sultry songbird SZA admitted to mistakes in her youth this week after an old tweet about Rihanna came to light.
The TDE singer was first linked to Rihanna after fans heard the two together on “Consideration,” the opening track to ANTi. The illustrious song got the live treatment on Wednesday evening (Feb. 24) at the 2016 BRIT Awards, along with a few darts SZA’s way.

Members of Rihanna’s Navy fanbase quickly questioned SZA for her past comments on the singer. Her tweet in question comes from 2011 when the upcoming singer commented on Rihanna’s former quarrel with Ciara. The “Child’s Play” singer took the high road by acknowledging the tweet and reminded fans she was young, petty and living the struggles of the retail life when she made the comment.
