VIDEO: Pep Guardiola's intense Bayern Munich training session in Doha

Bayern Munich may be reigning German, European and World club champions, but boss Pep Guardiola is unrelenting in his quest for footballing utopia at the Allianz Arena.

The self-confessed perfectionist is currently putting his side through their paces at a warm-weather training camp in Doha during the Bundesliga's winter break.

And it's proving to be anything but a laid back sojourn in the sunshine judging by the video below.

In it, an animated Guardiola can be seen walking his players through a complex passing drill, gesticulating wildly throughout as he passes on instructions.

The eight minute long clip, courtesy of YouTube channel TZOnline, provides a unique insight into the Spaniard's mindset and training methods.

Guardiola, who led Barcelona to 14 major trophies during his four year tenure at the Camp Nou, was recently hailed as the benchmark for all other coaches to follow by Juventus counterpart Antonio Conte.

Conte was speaking alongside Guardiola at the recent Dubai International Sports Conference where the latter picked up two awards for the Most Successful Coach and the Best Media Attraction in Football.

While Guardiola is clearly a tough taskmaster, his Bayern players have spoken of their enjoyment of working under him, with Swiss winger Xherdan Shaqiri explaining what makes him so great.
