King of the ads: Lionel Messi the face of Pepsi, Turkish Airlines, Samsung AND Adidas

Lionel Messi is proving to be as prolific in the world of advertising as he is on a football field.

As the reigning four-time World Player of the Year, the Barcelona and Argentina superstar is one of football's most marketable faces.

And as a result, he's the star of more than that just the awesome Pepsi "Live For Now" TV commercial above which sees him show off his nifty footwork with a Pepsi can.

But that's not the only cool thing the 26-year-old has been up of late. He's also been pitting his wits against NBA great Kobe Bryant in 'The Selfie Shootout' for Turkish Airlines.

If that wasn't enough, Messi is also summed with a host of other big-names to defend Earth against the threat of aliens in the brilliant new Samsung Galaxy commercial.

Next up, and it's this video of Barcelona's all-time record goalscoring crying over the ongoing issues of  stadium violence in his native Argentina.

The video, released by the Leo Messi Foundation, concludes with the message "no one wins — let's make together a world without violence."

Oh, and lest we forget this advert which sees Messi travelling at the speed of light to promote the new adizero F50 Messi boots for sports manufacturing behemoths Adidas.
