Dennis Quaid and his wife Kimberly Buffington-Quaid, who famously sued after their newborn twins were given an almost lethal dose of medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A., are a couple no more. The actor announced he was ending his third marriage (his second was to actress Meg Ryan) after almost eight years together in March. But Buffington pulled the divorce papers she had filed just one month later so the two could work on their marriage, according to People. By October, Buffington had changed her mind and filed for legal separation, but it was Quaid who filed for divorce the following month. Not surprisingly, he requested joint custody of the twins. less
