Maryland governor lifts emergency order for Baltimore

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Maryland Governor Larry Hogan on Wednesday lifted an emergency order for Baltimore that had been imposed after arson and looting followed the death of a black man who sustained injuries while in police custody. Hogan had signed the order on April 27 and activated the National Guard to quell potential violence.
