Manny Pacquiao hard at work in LA gym ahead of Floyd Mayweather mega-fight

Manny Pacquiao is leaving nothing to chance as he prepares for the biggest night of his boxing career on May 2.

With a little over eight weeks to go until his $300million mega-fight against Floyd Mayweather, the hard work has already begun for the Filipino at his Los-Angeles-based training camp.

The 36-year-old showed off his incredible hand-speed in two videos he posted on Instagram on Wednesday as he keeps his adoring public up to date with his preparations.

Even in the absence of long-time trainer Freddie Roach, who is currently in Macau preparing Zou Shiming ahead of his IBF flyweight title fight against Amnat Ruenroeng on Saturday, Pacquiao looks focused.

The Filipino is working out at Roach's Wild Card boxing club with Justin Fortune heading his conditioning and Somodio and Buboy Fernandez handling the boxing coaching until Roach returns.

"I have Buboy with me and Freddie will be back in plenty of time," Pacquiao said. "I'm OK. I can get my work done."
