Lady Gaga says she doesn’t feel bad about 25lb weight gain

Lady Gaga has shown she’s just like the rest of us and given in to the temptation of carbs.

The singer confessed she has gained 25lbs eating pizza and pasta after her Dad opened a new Italian restaurant.

Speaking to radio host Elvis Duran, Gaga explained, “I love eating pasta and pizza. I’m a New York Italian girl. That’s why I have been staying out of New York.

My father opened a restaurant. It's so amazing … it’s so freaking delicious, but I’m telling you I gain five pounds every time I go in there. So my dad wants me to eat at the restaurant, and I’m, like, I’ve got to go where I can drink green juice.”

The interview silenced critics that suggested her weight gain was from excessive alcohol consumption.

Being a refreshingly honest voice from celebworld, Gaga said she didn’t mind putting on some pounds, “I really don’t feel bad about it, not even for a second. I have to be on such a strict diet constantly.”

She explained that whilst she was back on a diet now, she is trying to strike a compromise between eating what she wants and maintaining her figure.

“It’s hard because it’s a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don’t like that. So I’m trying to find a new balance.”

We think you look fab Gaga. We salute you.
