Eminem Teases Lost Version of ‘Lose Yourself’ That Even He Doesn't Remember Recording (Video)
Remember the Best Rap Grammy-winning “Lose Yourself” from “8 Mile,” both courtesy of wordsmith Eminem? He doesn't. Or at least not the original version of the lauded song.
In the below teaser, Slim Shady plays a snippet of the first “scratch” version, that the admitted drug addict claims to have not even knew existed. As he tells the story, it was a different time and he was clearly in a different head space.

“I don't even remember recording,” Marshall Mathers said during a black and white in-studio interview. “I don't remember where I was at when I recorded it.”
“I don't remember any of the first verse,” he continued. “I don't remember any of it.”
