UAE National Day holidays for private and public sectors announced

UAE private sector workers will have a one day holiday on Tuesday, December 2 to mark National Day, the Ministry of Labour has announced.

The announcement was made via a circular issued by the UAE Minister of Labour Saqr Gobash, according to the official news agency WAM.

It was earlier announced that government and public sector workers will be off from Tuesday to Saturday, enjoying a five day break and returning to work on Sunday, December 7.

December 2 is the UAE's 43rd National Day, celebrating the union of the seven emirates and the formation of the federation.
