Laila Ali to hold Abu Dhabi fitness class

Laila Ali, the daughter of boxing icon Muhammad Ali and four-time World Boxing Champion, will host a fitness day in Abu Dhabi to mark International Women's Day next month, UAE daily The National reported on Tuesday.

The event will be held on March 8 at Al Bateen Secondary School in Abu Dhabi. Ali will offer health and nutrition advice, as well as a body combat and body attack class, the report said.

The champion boxer will be joined by US bodybuilder Rachel Omolewu and local Zumba instructor Erika Losada.

"We are honoured to have the legendary Laila Ali join us in support of International Women's Day," the daily quoted Hania Kuleib, owner of Inspire Sports Management, the organisers of the event, as saying.
