Dubai named destination of the year by British travel industry

Dubai has picked up another global accolade, being named the destination of the year by the British travel industry.

The key players of the UK travel trade gathered at the Leicester Square Odeon Cinema in London to commemorate power houses in the industry at the TTG Travel Awards 2013 on Tuesday night.

Not only did Dubai pick up the top honour, but Emirates ranked as the airline of the year at the major gala event. Emirates also won the best Airline of the Year title at the World Airline Awards earlier this year.
