Contrary to recent announcements, the Gangnam Style singer Psy has said he is not coming to Dubai to perform at the My Music X festival.

According to the organisers, the South Korean singer was scheduled to perform at the Atlantis Hotel on Dubai's Palm Jumeirah during thethree-day festival running from March 27 to 30.

LATEST CONTRADICTIONS

However, the singer has denied the reports in a tweet: "To fans in Dubai there is some wrong information being reported. I will NOT be in Dubai March 28 but look forward to coming soon~!”

But festival organisers say there is some confusion as everything was “fixed” on their end. My Music X PR manager Nadia Sarie told Yahoo! Maktoob: "There definitely is confusion in this matter because everything from our end is fixed. It is taking us time to reach the singer's agent and hence we will only get clarity later.”

A statement on their website said: "My Music X is aware of a tweet from Korea this morning in relation to the proposed appearance of PSY at our My Music X Festival next month. The My Music X team is currently making inquiries into the situation and will update the public as soon as the circumstances are clearer."
