Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal pledges cash incentive to help Al Hilal beat Western Sydney

Al Hilal's players have been given added incentive to overturn their one-goal deficit in the AFC Champions League final by Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal.

Two-time Asian champions Hilal head into next Saturday's defining fixture against Western Sydney Wanderers in Riyadh trailing 1-0 from the first leg.

Substitute Tomi Juric was Western Sydney's hero, scoring the winner seven minutes after stepping off the bench. It means his side are now just 90 minutes away from becoming Australia's first ever continental champions.

However, the tie is far from over with Prince Alwaleed so determined to see the Saudi giants - voted Asia's best team of the 20th century - win Asian club football's biggest prize that he's made a cash promise.

Writing to his 2.45 million followers on Twitter, Prince Alwaleed pledged SR 100,000 for every member of the Al Hilal playing squad and staff should they clinch the title at the King Fahd Stadium.

If that wasn't enough, he's also ensured that every ticket will be free for the club's loyal fans meaning a full house is expected for the winner-takes-all showdown.

News of a capacity crowd comes after it was announced earlier this month that female fans of Western Sydney would be allowed to attend the match in the ultra conservative kingdom.

The second leg kicks off next Saturday, November 1 at 9.30pm local time. The match will be shown live on BeIN Sports.
