Red Frog Wearing Blue Jeans: The Strawberry Poison Dart Frog by Ian.Kate.Bruce's Wildlife

The Strawberry Poison Dart Frog has a variety of beautiful color patterns that serve as a warning to predators. If a snake grabs the frog it is released immediately due to the poison. The snake writhes, scrapes its mouth against the ground and may lie comatose for several hours. Predators don't die from this experience but they learn to avoid brightly coloured frogs.
