Advisory - Indian markets closed on Tuesday for public holiday

India stocks, bonds and currency markets are closed on Tuesday for a public holiday. Trading will resume on Wednesday. The Nifty rose 0.18 percent on Monday, while the benchmark BSE index gained 0.21 percent. The rupee ended at 67.83/84 compared with its close of 67.6250/6350 on Friday. The yield for the benchmark 10-year bond rose 3 basis points to 7.81 percent from its previous close. (Compiled by Mumbai markets team)
