CAIRO, Jan 10 (Reuters) - The average yield on Egyptian
182-day T-bills slipped at an auction on Thursday to 13.970
percent from 14.104 percent at last week's auction, the central
bank said.
The central bank accepted bids for 182-day T-bills worth 2.5
billion Egyptian pounds ($384 million) - the same amount
offered. The issue date is Jan. 15.
The average yield on 364-day T-bills was 14.503 percent,
compared to 13.623 percent at the last issue on Dec. 18. It
accepted bids for 4 billion pounds, the same amount it had
offered.
The central bank two weeks ago cancelled an auction for
364-day T-bills for Jan. 1 issue.
