X Factor 2015: Simon Cowell To Ditch Wembley Arena And Take Boot Camp BACK To Hotels And Manor Houses?

OH HERE WE GO AGAIN. Just when we thought all the X Factor speculation, rumours and general ‘what the HECK is going on??’ was over, new whisperings have emerged, claiming Simon Cowell is planning yet another shake-up - returning boot camp to manor houses and hotels.

Keeping up with this year’s drama is proving to be more difficult than keeping up with all the goings-on in one episode of Made in Chelsea, to be honest.

There have been more rumours in the build-up to this year’s X Factor than there were surrounding who nicked the last ice lolly in our freezer yesterday (OWN UP, CULPRIT), and now that we have the judges and Xtra Factor hosts all lined-up, we thought we could sleep easy.

Well, as easy as you can in this heat.

However, it’s now being reported that Sico is considering taking the show’s format back to the days of Steve Brookstein and reverting back to the old boot camp venues.

Which means au revoir Wembley Arena, and bonjour fancy hotels and swanky manor houses.

A show source told The Sun: “When Boot Camp was held at hotels and country houses, it proved to be a really great round of the competition.

“Inevitably, there was some really bad behaviour and people got up to no good.

“There was always drinking and often some of the contestants hooked up but X Factor never wanted to appear as though it encouraged that kind of thing. But there’s no doubt it made for great television.

“Now that it’s being brought back, we’re certain to see a return to the wild ways of old.”

Errr, so Simon wants a more ‘raucous’ X Factor this year then?

Okay good. Glad we know now.

It’s also thought that this year’s judge’s houses will be LIVE, rather than pre-recorded.

Got any more surprises up your sleeve, Simon?
