X Factor 2015: Rita Ora Defends Her Spot On The Judging Panel

This year’s X Factor judging panel choices have come under more scrutiny than ever, with SOME people deciding that those chosen aren’t the right fit for the show.

After Aston Merrygold defended the panel when we caught up with him for a chat, Rita Ora herself has spoken out to tell the #haters that she fully deserves to be on the show, thanks.

You tell ‘em, Rita!

Looking totally stunning on the front cover of Glamour, the 24-year-old explained: “It’s not about thinking, ‘Oh my God, I want to be on TV every Saturday night’! I’m a musician, I’ve built this bond with my team, with the music industry.

“I’ve worked hard to be involved with everything you see my name associated with. It doesn’t happen overnight, and I feel I have as much right to be on that panel as everyone does.”

She also spoke about having to meet Simon Cowell under the cover of night, thanks to them both being the busiest of bees.

Rita revealed: “Simon and I planned to meet and just chat. There wasn’t any pressure. We could only meet around midnight ‘cause we were so busy. So we met at his place in west London.

“We spoke about the changes in the show, about his goals and aims, and I started to agree with the changes that were gonna happen…. We had a two-hour conversation and I really liked his vision.”

We personally disagree with all the criticism - we’re LOVING this year’s judges, and the show hasn’t even arrived on our TV screens yet.

In fact, can it just hurry up and start already, please? We cannot WAIT to see what this series has to offer!
