Rare incident fills ISS astronaut's helmet with water

NASA had to abort a planned spacewalk from the ISS on Tuesday, just an hour into a planned six-hour task, when a water leak started filling Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano’s helmet. “My head is really wet and I have a feeling it’s increasing,” Parmitano radioed to flight controllers in Houston. He had to return to an airlock and wait patiently while the compartment was re-pressurised, with more water entering his helmet all the time. NASA said it cannot explain the leak.
