VIDEO: US soldier gives his life to save Afghan girl

The above video talks about the heart breaking story of a US soldier, Sgt. Dennis Weichel, who gave his life for saving an Afghan girl from being run down in the road.

Weichel was on patrol and his convoy came across several children playing across the road. He helped to move them, but one girl ran back into the path of a 16 tonne army truck. Weichel pushed her out of the way just in time, but he was struck and killed.

Dennis Weichel was 29 years old.
