Rhoel Toledo displayed an sterling performance to power Air21 to a Best Team of the Week and Best Bowler of the Week double during the 25th session in the Itqan Tenpin Bowlers (IBG) Friday Afternoon Bowling League 2nd Conference at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC) here.

Air21 mentored by FBGR Chairman Jerry Austria scored a perfect 26 points in crushing Saco (13 points) with Best Bowler of the Week honoree Toledo at the helm.
Toledo, with an 8 handicap per game, colored the lanes red by posting a remarkable four-game series of 942 on lines of 225, 229, 246 and 210. Supporting Toledo at Air21 were Thong Asuncion (897), Leo Mabunga (895), Jove Marano (867) and Jojo Paciano (748).
Leading the Saco losing cause squad was team captain Ferdie dela Rosa who toppled a four-game series of 914. Buddy Balisi and Nickson Mesa came in next to Dela Rosa at 847 and 782 while Jim dela Rosario and George Sto. Domingo knocked down separate series of 720 and 687 points.
League leader D’Pirates continued their winning streak by dumping Bankrun. D’Pirates also had 26 points but lost out to Air21 for the honor on overall output while the Bankrun had 7 points. Johnny Penecilla, Andro Tismo and Erwin Nacario spearheaded D’Pirates by posting separate series of 896, 835 and 827. Team captain Edwin Atienza and sweet-shooting Fareed Aquino contributed 784 and 779.
Bankrun, with a blind player in its lineup, had Angel Caasi leading the way on 804 points. Dawood Sereno (790), Rainier Torres (764) and Sam Alinsod (762) followed in that order.
Itqan Tornado rolled past the undermanned Salyng Kits 25-9. Butch Mateo (872), veteran Jett Cabana (854) and Zaldy Torres (850) led the Tornado. Belle Sabico and Gigi Enriquez added separate series of 769 and 745.
Leading scorer at Salyng Kits, mentored by Benny Mondoy, was Atoi Ramos who rolled a four-game series of 904 points. Benny had 827 while Larry Mondoy and Chito Llagas submitted separate series of 789 and 734.
Other results: NBA beat Pinbusters 25-11, Roll and Bowl beat Xperts 23-10, Itqan Tenppin Wizards beat Magnificent-5 21-11, Great Balls of Fire beat SABB Strikers 18-16.
