Taylor Swift Vs. Justin Bieber: Who Is Forbes’ #1 Highest Earning Star Under 30?

Justin may be more popular, but Taylor is the one raking in more dough! According to a new report, Taylor is the highest paid star under 30! Read on for all the details!

Taylor Swift has topped Forbes magazine’s annual list of the highest paid stars under the age of 30!

The 22-year-old country crooner raked in a cool $57 million from album sales, touring and endorsing goods like CoverGirl cosmetics from May 2011 to May 2012!

Coming in a close second is Justin Bieber, the only male in the top 5, with $55 million from record sales, concerts, and endorsements!

Dorothy Pomerantz, author of the Forbes list, told the New York Daily News that Swift exemplifies “Youth, innocence and the struggle of being a teen.” Fellow top 5 females also embody other factors that we, the consumers, yearn for. Rihanna is the “edgy bad girl” and Adele is all about “heartfelt” vocals, according to Dorothy.

She added, “We’re seeing this confluence of talented young female stars. They have such distinct personalities and sounds, they can all co-exist without cannibalising each other.”

Following Justin are: Rihanna ($53M), Lady Gaga ($52M), Katy Perry ($45M), Adele ($35M), Kristen Stewart ($34.5M), Lil Wayne ($27M), Taylor Lautner ($26.5M), and Robert Pattinson ($26.5M). As we previously reported, Taylor and Rob tied for 10th place on the list!
