Sheikh Mohammed asks residents to vote for UAE brand logo

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has called on residents to vote for a logo that will be used to promote UAE abroad.

The participation is open through Sheikh Mohammed's website www.services.moca.gov.ae/en and is open until July 18.

“The UAE nation brand logo will promote the UAE and tell its story to the world,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted. "I want all of you to choose the design you think is best." 

According to Sheikh Mohammed’s official website, the new brand logo focuses on ‘promotional aspects of the UAE as a key influencer in global economy, a nation with prestigious political status and an attractive environment, and a unique tourism and culture destination’.

The idea of the nation brand emerged from the vision of the UAE leadership to take the experience and different phases of its development to both internal and external audiences, the website stated.
