    Recipe: Kofta flowers

    Ingredients:
    Kofta flowers

    Kofta

    1 kilo soft meat
    (½ kg minced beef and ½ kg of minced lamb)

    1 big onion

    1 green hot

    pepper

    2 toast bread

    ¼ cup of milk

    2 teaspoon of

    salt

    1 teaspoon black

    pepper

    1 tablespoon

    olive oil

    Mashed potatoes

    3 potatoes

    1 teaspoon of

    salt

    1 teaspoon of

    butter

    ¼ cup of cream

    1 cup of cheddar

    cheese

    Method:

    Cut the potatoes

    into small pieces and boil in water till it cooks.

    Mash the potatoes

    while they are still hot, add butter, cream, cheese, salt and mix well until

    smooth then put into a decorating bag.

    Soak the toast in

    milk.

    Mince the onion

    with the hot pepper and toast, add the meat and spices, mix well.

    Roll the meat

    mixture into balls and put them on a tray brushed with vegetable oil and make

    space for the flower shaped mashed potatoes in the center.

    Pipe the mash

    potatoes in flower shapes in the center of the kofta.

    Put in the oven

    for 30 minutes at 200 degrees, serve with boiled vegetables or rice.
