Aasif Hakim Mandviwala is a comedian and an actor who’s both a television and film actor. Born in India, and raised in England. According to IMDB, his one-man show "Sakina's Restaurant" was the first play written by a South Asian American to be produced Off Broadway. It was after this show that Ismail Merchant cast him as the lead in the film The Mystic Masseur (2001). Madvi is now a regular reporter on The Daily Show.
