Pope's resignation a 'bolt from the blue'

The resignation of the pope has been defined as "a bolt from the blue." And last night, a picture taken by photographer Alessandro Di Meo hints it might be true. Di Meo's photo, which captures the moment lightning strikes the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, has gone viral along with that of another photographer, Filippo Monteforte.
