Laziest countries in the world
A series of studies conducted over 122 countries by medical journal The Lancet has revealed the countries with the highest levels of inactivity in the world. The researchers concluded that a lack of exercise is now a leading cause of death, saying: "Strong evidence shows that physical inactivity increases the risk of many adverse health conditions, including major non-communicable diseases such as coronary heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and breast and colon cancers and shortens life expectancy.”
