London, Aug 4 (IANS/RIA Novosti) Czech world champion Miroslava Knapkova won Olympic gold in the women's single sculls Saturday by a huge margin.
Knapkova went three lengths clear in the first 500 metres and glided over the line in seven minutes 54.37 seconds.
Fie Udby Erichsen of Denmark won a close race for silver, finishing in 7:57.72, three tenths ahead of Australia's Kim Crow, who took bronze.
