ALGIERS, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Global oil prices are
expected to stabilise at around $100 per barrel this year, and
there is a consensus among OPEC member states to leave them at
their current level, Algeria's energy and mines minister was
quoted as saying.
"The outlook for the oil market this year shows a balance
between supply and demand and relative stability in the market
and we expect the price will stabilise at around $100 per
barrel," El Khabar newspaper on Monday quoted the minister,
Youcef Yousfi, as saying.
"I can confirm that today there is consensus within OPEC to
leave prices at their current level."
