Nobbs unimpressed with India's 15-1 drubbing of Singapore

New Delhi, Feb 18 (IANS) Indian men's hockey coach Michael Nobbs was unimpressed with the team's 15-1 win over Singapore in their first match of the 2012 London Olympics qualifiers at the Major Dhyan Chand National here Saturday.

"I am never satisfied. We are not even close to our peak," the Australian said after India registered its biggest win over Singapore.

India's previous best against Singapore was 12-0 in the 1982 Asia Cup in Karachi. India also maintained its domination over Singapore having won all its 14 matches.

Nobbs, however, was happy with the speed India played against Singapore.

"We were pacy and controlled the game throughout the match. We were sharp as well. We also practiced a few combinations in this match," he said.
