Mehran, Game Pro and Star Eleven capture titles in RCL T20 tournament

Mehran CC won the final match against Al Eid CC for the Super Cup, Game Pro CC beat Saudi Jaguars CC for Premier League I crown and Star Eleven defeated Black Caps in Premier League II final in the RCL organized T20 Cricket Tournament sponsored by PSI and Bilawal Haneef

Super Cup final: Mehran batted first and made 155 runs for 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Habib Khan made 34, Usman 26 and Ibrahim 24 runs for Al Eid. Asad and Afan took two wickets each and Maaz, Fahim and Raja took one wicket each. In reply Al Eid CC fell short with 147 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs. Arsalan made 42, Raja 22 and Fahim Shah 20 runs.

Habib Khan took 3 for 28 runs. Ibrahim and Mjaid took 2 wkts. Habib Khan of Mehran CC was adjudged Man of the Match for scoring 34 runs and taking 3 for 28.

Premier League I: Batting first Game Pro scored 255 runs for 9 wkts in its allotted 20 overs. Farhan Mushtaq made 43 runs, Vimal Raj 27 and Hasnain 26 runs. Faisal and Iqbal took 3 wkts each while Danish took 2 wkts for 37 runs for Saudi Jaguars CC. In reply Saudi Jaguar CC could only manage 177 and was bowled out in 18.5 overs. Haider made 66 runs, Danish 44 and Iqbal 21 runs. Imtiaz Keri from Game Pro took 4 for 28, Imran and Hasnain took 2 wkts each. Imtiaz Keri of Game Pro CC was adjudged Man of the Match for his fine bowling in which he took 4 for 28 runs.

Premier League II: Batting first, Black Caps scored 209 runs for losing 8 wkts in their allotted 20 overs. Bilal made 114 runs by stroking 16 fours and hitting a towering six, while Sanaullah had 23 runs and Abid 20. Kashif, Imtiyaz and Manzoor each took 2 wkts for Star Eleven CC. In reply Star Eleven CC made 210 runs with the loss of 7 wkts in 19.2 overs. Imtiyaz made 69 runs, Imran 24 and Manzoor 23 runs. Zeeshan took 4 for 30 runs and Bilal 2 for 24 for Black Caps CC . Imtiyaz of Star Eleven CC was adjudged Man of the Match for scoring 69 runs and taking 2 wkts.

Prize distribution ceremony was held at the RCL ground stage. President Mamoor Elahi gave the prizes to the winning captains and announced the new T20 tournament to be sponsored by Power Zone.
