IMF approves 405 mn euro stand-by loan for Bosnia

The International Monetary Fund awarded Wednesday a 405.3 million euro ($521.5 million) stand-by loan for Bosnia in support of the government's program to fight slowing growth.

The IMF executive board approved the two-year loan, releasing an initial installment of 60.8 million euros ($78.1 million), with the remainder to be disbursed depending on successful quarterly reviews, the IMF said in a statement.
