How to Enter

Want your Flickr photos to be chosen as Yahoo’s Picture of the Day?
It’s easy to get involved – just follow these four simple steps.

Step 1 Sign in at www.flickr.com. Don’t have an account? Click “sign up”, then “create new account”. You can use your existing Yahoo ID to sign in, or use your Facebook account. If you don’t have either, you can simply follow the instructions tocreate a new account in under 40 seconds.

Step

2 Work out which pics you want to submit to Yahoo’s Picture of the Day.  If you don’t have any on Flickr yet, click on "Upload" and get busy adding your original snaps. You can drag and drop, or choose files the old-fashioned way.

Tip

Make your life easier by adding in a title for your image, a description that tells the story and your country’s region tag the moment you upload your pic. The Middle East and North Africa region tag is potd:country=MENA_EN.

Step 3 Join the

Yahoo Picture of the Day Group. Go to Communities, search for us or click here and join. Easy,right?

Step 4 Add y

our pictures. Yup, it’s really that simple. Simply click on “Add Photos”, choose your pictures and you’re done.

But make sure you’ve given your pic a description that tells the story behind your photo, and make sure you’ve added a tag to your picture to show what area it’s from. If you’re in the Middle East or North Africa, use potd:country=MENA_EN.
