Fujairah cab driver found dead in car

A driver was found dead in his own taxi in a remote area in Fujairah, daily newspaper Gulf News reported.

The Asian driver was attacked and died from multiple stab wounds, the report said.

Head of Fujairah police, Brigadier Mohammad Ahmad Bin Ganem Aal Kaabi, said that following up a call for assistance, the driver’s body was found in a pool of blood in a mountain area behind a nutrition factory.

The body was transferred to a hospital as Fujeirah police are launching an intensive investigation to find the perpetrator, the report added.
